Join us for a great evening of Western-Country music for the whole family! The legendary Sons of the Pioneers are the ultimate in Western Music. Like generations of fans who have enjoyed their unique style of music you will be amazed at their musicianship, mesmerized by their unique vocal harmonies and laugh at their humor. The Smithsonian Institute has named the Sons of the Pioneers as "National Treasures" and two of their signature songs Tumbling Tumbleweeds and Cool Water are in the Grammy Hall of Fame. They will take you to the great American West in songs of prairies, canyons, night herds, gunfighters, horses and wide open spaces. If you like the West and the American cowboy, you are gonna love this show. The concert will take place on October 23, 2022 at the Union County Schools Fine Arts Center. Tickets are available on Eventbrite, on Facebook at "FERST Readers' Concert for Literacy", at the Blairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce, Young Harris Pharmacy, Carter Insurance & Investments and at Pat's Hallmark in Blairsville. 100% of all proceeds will go to the Union County FERST Readers Childhood Literacy Program, which furnishes free books every month to any child ages birth to five years old to promote literacy through early childhood reading.
