After a season opening reception beginning at 6:30 p.m., join pianist David Córdoba and flautist Elizabeth Osorio for an evening of music from Latin America. Born in Medellin (Colombia), David has performed at different venues in Latin America and The United States. His interest in Latin American contemporary music has led him to premiere chamber music works in various festivals in Chili and Colombia. Recently, he was invited to open the 2021 season of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra playing the Beethoven Concerto No.2 for Piano and Orchestra, under the baton of Robert Moody. Joining David is Colombian flautist, Elizabeth Osorio, who has recently performed in Paris and New York City.
