Butterfly World is located inside a County Park in the city of Coconut Creek, Florida. Established in 1988, we are the first butterfly facility in the western hemisphere and the largest butterfly and bird park in the world! Please join our team, working within our 3+ acre attraction with approximately 20,000 butterflies and 600 birds. This position consists of landscaping, maintaining the property and keeping the public areas clean. PLEASE APPLY NOW! Daily Duties include but are not limited to the following:• • Water and care for varieties of flowers, plants, and trees. • Pulling weeds, trimming trees and foliage, planting and grooming plants. • Keeping all areas clean throughout the property. • Working whenever maintenance assistance is needed. • Working with tools needed for landscaping and maintenance. • Selling and answering plant-related questions in our Garden Center. • Must be comfortable being on your feet all day & in the heat outdoors. Job requirements: • High School Diploma required • Great communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • Completes all established duties promptly • Good physical condition and able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Willingness to work outdoors, including weekends and holidays. • Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus but not necessary • Must pass a background check and drug test Full-Time + Benefits IT'S ALWAYS BEST TO APPLY IN PERSON at Butterfly World (located on the south side of Sample Road), 3600 W.
