You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from Keidrain Brewster, author of "From the Streets to the Suites" as he shares insights from his personal journey from struggle to entrepreneurship on Wednesday, September 14 from 5 to 6 p.m. Keidrain Brewster is a returned citizen that served 13 years in prison. Since his release, he has built his own trucking company and authored two books; “From the Rec Yard to the Streets”, which outlines lessons learned from his time in prison and how he applied those lessons upon release, and “From the Streets to the Suites”, which tells the story of his journey to starting his own business and reaching the level of success he desired. Keidrain now focuses on using his trucking company to reduce the recidivism rate by inspiring returning citizens that have been touched by the system to take a new career path and advocating for educational tools in the penal system.
