It is with great pleasure that we share information about an upcoming Small Business Transportation Symposia & Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Briefing on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. The Symposia’s theme is Alabama: ‘Building a new future for America’s infrastructure and beyond. The Birmingham Airport Authority will serve as host location of the event which will include an informative briefing by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Office of Small Business (OSDBU) on the opportunity for small businesses to benefit from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The Law is intended to make historic investments in the transportation sector, including public safety and climate resilience, creating jobs and opportunities across the country. Funding will help create new roadways, new bicycle and pedestrian paths and Small Business assets are critical to supporting these deployments that are receiving billions in infrastructure project funding. Representatives from USDOT Office of Small Business will share key insights, trends, and opportunities with our audience. SARCOR, LLC is co-hosting the event alongside the U.S. DOT Southeast Region Office of Small Business and is serving as local point of contact ensuring maximum participation by small business owners and public, private and institutional stakeholders.
