Our objective is to provide participants with:Tips on protecting themselves, clients, and others from scams and fraudProvide an opportunity for participants to ask questions and receive answers from expert presentersInformation on preventing identity theft, including medical identity theftInformation on detecting potential scams, fraud, and identity theftInformation on preventive steps participants can take and share with others to report suspected financial and other fraud targeting seniorsSteps to take to protect seniors and themselves from different types of financial exploitation to include investment fraud, and other types of financial fraud and theftLunch and 1 hour Social Work CEU's will be available at no cost. (Nurses can convert these CEU's). Open to all professionals and community members. Certificates of attendance upon request.
