Locally owned landscape company, Soil Seekers Landscape, is looking for a landscape maintenance crew member. This is not an entry level position! **MUST HAVE A VALID/CLEAN CALIFORNIA DRIVERS LICENSE** We are looking for someone who is interested in a full-time/long term position with the company. Someone who has a good attitude and enjoys landscape work. The ideal applicant will have the following: Landscape experience: - experience/knowledge with the operation of landscape machines and equipment (i.e. walk behind mowers, ride on mowers, string trimmers, hedgers, chain saws and blowers) - general irrigation knowledge: lawn and drip irrigation systems - general pruning experience - general plant/tree identification General requirements include: - driving full sized truck with trailering experience - ability to move materials (i.e. wheelbarrow throughout 8-9 hours per day) - be physically fit - landscape maintenance requires strength and endurance - possess a high work rate with an eye for detail - professional appearance and attitude Communication skills: - clarity with verbal and written communication: eye contact, detailed descriptions, etc. - absolutely needs to work well with others and be a team player! Looking for a highly qualified individual who wants to be part of a professional team. Applicant MUST have a valid CA drivers license and a CLEAN driving record. Additional details: - This is a full-time position: 40-45 hours/week with overtime - 5 paid sick days/year after 90 days probation - 5 paid vacation days/year after 6 months of employment - $1 raise after 90 days probationary period - 3% 401(k) match after 6 months of employment Email resume with subject line: Landscape Construction Crew Member.
