Hip House is a residential construction company that specializes in custom new builds and renovation projects. We are looking for a team member with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and an eye for detail. Applicants must have: • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Must be reliable and show up on time. • Familiarity with hand tools such as power drills, hammers, and saws. • Ability to understand verbal and written instruction in English and ability to document job tasks. • General knowledge of construction operations and procedures. • Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and crew members. • Ability to balance on ladders and scaffolding. • Have the physical abilities to lift and carry items weighing up to 90 pounds; climb and work from ladders; bend, stoop, and work around wood dust and fumes, and in inclement weather conditions. • Must be able to pass a Drug Test Responsibilities: • Ready the construction site each day for the current project by preparing materials, tools, and equipment. • Apply new project instructions for each job and make adjustments as directed by the manager or supervisor. • Maintain a clean and professional appearance. • Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints. • Leave construction equipment and tools clean, organized, and stored in an orderly fashion after each use. • Provide assistance to other team members on various tasks. Schedule/Wages: • Monday-Friday-$18.00 per hour
