I’m a seasoned (60 yr old but don’t look a day over 59 ½!) bass player looking to get out and play again. Full disclosure - I’m a snowbird in the Cape from approx mid-Oct to early May so that obviously can be a problem. Not looking to step on any locals toes, but hoping to find a fun, flexible opportunity to play. Have a seasonal band? Current guy not always available and need a frequent fill-in? Would love to talk. A bit about me: Spent 4 years prior to Covid in a 9 piece band doing Chicago / Van Morrison / Springsteen / Motown (think Deb & Dynamics) in Minneapolis. Spent quite a few years prior to that doing regular classic rock in a 4 piece. Really into getting people up and dancing and would prefer to stay somewhere in those genres. No personal issues - show up on time and prepared, no drug/drink problems, have good transportation, am retired so very flexible on rehearsals and availability, team player, great sense of humor Have pro equipment Live in Cape Coral so would prefer to rehearse and play within reasonable distances although flexible for one-off gigs Very limited vocals, can contribute some backing but really not my forte Thanks for taking a look, would like to discuss any opportunities you may have.
