DETROIT — Marygrove College in Detroit will be giving away free school supplies, food, haircuts and more. The "Back-to-School Empowerment Event" will be held inside the college's Madam Cadillac Hall from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Marygrove College is located at 8425 West McNichols in Detroit. Free parking is available on site. The event is free and open to the public, while supplies last.
