I specialize in high anxiety grooming; I take all the dogs that were refused from most groomers because they cry excessively or they are aggressive and nippy. I do charge for biting, and also, if I am hospitalized I do ask to be lightly compensated. It isn't often that happens, that is why I do not groom big dogs. The most I have ever charged some one for anything was $500 and that is because my whole fingernail came off. I am a reasonable person, I do ask that your dog be a return customer for the sake of the dog not being neglected. I believe all dogs should have the opportunity to be cared for and to require some patience. I typically take 3 hours on a groom or more because I have to pause to walk the dog, or play with the dog, and teach positive re-enforcement while they get used to me. I dedicate my life to animals. I offer pet boarding for a few days, I charge $65 a night for that, and I also offer a small amount of certain training upon request. I do not take dogs larger than 20 pounds, I do not like to be rushed. I do offer video sessions for an additional $15, just so trust is established. I have plenty of equipment to deal with many hostile dog interactions. Dogs usually love me, I treat them with kindness and respect and I do not ignore them when they are sending me social ques like crying, yawning, shaking, etc. Thanks I also will take dogs with skin conditions but I charge extra for it depending on how severe it is. A full shave down is $80, I offer teeth cleaning nail trims, etc. I do not do show dogs, i don't do the over the top fluff or coat preservation. If if it is matted I am shaving it. I do poodles clean feet and clean face.
