Experienced Laborer Local Construction Company based in San Luis Obispo seeking a Laborer for full time position. Hourly wage will depend on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities: Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Operate one or several types of power construction equipment, compressors, pumps, move and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties. Qualifications: Experience working in construction as a laborer / equipment operator Show up on time and ready to work Good attitude; able to work well with others and follow instructions Able to work safely at all times Able to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and digging Must pass pre-employment drug screen We offer competitive wages, based on experience.
