We have a vacancy in our team for a part-time housekeeper to work in several buildings. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and you must have experience in hotel-type cleaning/checkouts. To work well in this role you should have experience cleaning, have a clear criminal record, and be able to provide two professional references. The person chosen for this position has opportunities for growth. Some maintenance and/or office experience is a bonus. Job duties include cleaning salons, offices, condominium units, laundry, and detailed checkouts when they become vacant. This might include maintaining the grounds, including daily trash pickup outside, and weekly trash pickup for some residents. Skill Requirements: Occupational-Specific: Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing heavy labor throughout a 5-6 hour shift. Technical Skills: Training provided. Operate carpet cleaner/extractor, vacuum, and wet/dry shop vacuum. Knowledge of cleaning solutions and solvents. Personal Qualities: Professional, good listening, and oral communication skills are imperative. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, have the great ability to follow instructions, efficient, and eager to learn new skills. General Task Description Clean and maintain commercial office spaces and salons. Maintain and control inventory; Clean condo windows/patio doors and windows; Housekeeping; Move furniture; Keep grounds well maintained of trash; Clean and wax floors in the salons; Hang and repair curtains; Other duties as assigned Other general maintenance experience is a huge plus.
