Food products company is hiring a person/s to help with one or both of the following: A: farmer's market logistics, packing, equipment maintenance [every Sunday = 7-8 hrs./wk.] B: wholesale deliveries, maintenance, unloading [M - F, mid-afternoon to early evenings = 20 - 25 hrs./wk. to start] (You may apply/inquire about A or B - or - both A and B) We are located in Pico-Robertson. Please take this into consideration if it will be a commute. Job is physical and requires lifting (as outlined below). $18/hr. to start, must be on payroll (i.e. paid by direct deposit or check, must provide documents for work eligibility in the U.S.). Clean driving record from DMV required, for business auto insurance purposes. Our insurance broker will verify your driving record before any training can be started. Fluent in English. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required. Experience with food products, kitchens and logistics preferable, but not required. This position is very detail-oriented; it is important to be thorough, meticulous and precise. We are looking for someone reliable who has an interest in food products and also someone who is willing to work more with the company, as we are growing and there is always more work. A: farmer's market logistics, packing, equipment maintenance Sundays (4 am - 8 am, and 1 pm - 5 pm, approx.) - Drive van to set up market booths at various locations in early morning - Drive van to pick up market booths and bring back to office in afternoon. - Take care of returning inventory and equipment - Maintain clean facility, take inventory - can also be more hours packing product and loading vans on Saturdays B: wholesale deliveries and other errands for weekdays - weekdays, M - F, flexible - must be flexible to work until jobs are completed (currently 3 - 7 pm) *we do not promise a specific end time to shifts* - will be more shifts/days as demand grows. - drive company vehicle to our other kitchen facility, pick up orders and deliver to corporate customers. - must be detail oriented and thorough, as all orders are different and specific (*this is NOT a grab-and-go situation where you can just throw stuff in the van and take off; each order must first be assembled, verified and arranged) - must have good knowledge of LA area, neighborhoods and streets ** If interested, please reply telling us why you think this would be good for you - simply something in the body of email or attached resume would be good.
