Parts Department - Auto Body Shop

Precision Body and Paint of Beaverton is seeking a qualified person to work in our Parts department. The individual who fills this position will report to the Production Operations Manager and will be responsible to help ensure that the department runs efficiently. Responsibilities include: * Order parts via email, phone or fax * Post invoices and credits into management system * Return parts and track credits * Pick up parts from vendors when needed * Check parts for damage * Deliver (mirror match) parts to Technicians * Other duties as necessary Ideal candidates will have the following: * The ability to work well under pressure and with others * A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record * 2 years experience working in auto body parts preferred * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Attention to detail is a must * Excellent organizational skills * A sense of urgency when necessary * A positive attitude and a desire to work hard Applicants must be able to pass a background check and a DMV check. Beginning salary between $20 and $25 / hour, depending on experience. Benefits are available after a short probationary period and include Medical/Dental/Vision along with a 401(k) program, holiday pay and vacation pay.
