Very Good Opportunity for Experienced Framer/Carpenter (Salem) We have a 2 - 3 week special project that could very well lead to multiple projects for you. We would love to expand our network of independent carpenters that take pride in their work. You must have all your own tools and a reliable vehicle. Starting Next week - Tuesday 8.30.22 The chosen candidate will work on doing interior finish work for cottages- The work is out of the weather and sun in a nice work environment. Includes installing tongue/groove wall coverings, "click" together floor system, trimming out interior windows & doors, setting one kitchen cabinet and one bathroom vanity, etc. All Pretty straight forward. Preference given if you have your own company and/or license. Otherwise still could work out. Employment type: contract - special project We are a well-established and expanding Cottage building company. We build Tiny Houses and ADU’s at our 10,000 sq ft facility near Salem airport. The typical structure is only 9.5' x 28' and some even smaller. Our established network of contract carpenters make $85,000 - $110,000 + a year with no overtime required. This particular project is at a clients location outside of Salem. We are looking for 2 - 3 smart, hard workers with significant interior finish experience Installing tongue/groove wall coverings, trimming out interior windows and doors, install easy "click" together flooring, etc. We usually use one and 2 man crews. If you have a helper or carpenter side kick we will consider a 2 man team. COMPENSATION: $295 A DAY PER 8 HOURS + TRAVEL ALLOWANCE. This is higher pay than the state wide average, but we are looking for dependable team players that we will enjoy working with. Our current project is within 35 minutes of Salem.
