Description

Children in Foster Care Citizen Case Reviews - Volunteer for the CRB The Citizen Review Board (CRB) is Oregon's statewide, foster-care review program. The CRB Volunteer Board Members conduct case plan reviews of children living in foster care to determine if placements and services are appropriate. They provide a citizen voice on the safety, stability, and supervision of children in foster care through the review process and advocacy. Volunteer Board Members are appointed by the Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court, and make legal findings and recommendations that are filed with the court. You can learn about, and impact the Child Welfare and Judicial systems by spending just one day each month volunteering with the CRB! The CRB helps shape public policy and actively promotes conditions to ensure every child lives in a safe, secure, healthy, and permanent home, preserving families whenever possible. The CRB is actively recruiting volunteer board members in Linn County. To learn more and apply for the CRB, please visit our website: courts.oregon.gov/crb.
