Kelly is hiring for a Warehouse/Yard Associate in Fort Mill, SC!! Our client's product line consists of PVC, Ductile Iron pipe, fittings, fire hydrants and other accessories. They have a 9400 sq foot warehouse and an outside storage yard for the large items. This position is for someone who can work in hot and cold weather. This person must have plumbing and forklift experience. They will be moving 20’ lengths of pipe around the yard, loading and unloading onto flatbed trucks. These are loads that need to be balanced unlike a pallet of goods neatly packaged and shrink wrapped. This person will also be moving pallets that are more typical but must have more experience that allows for the odd loads. There is some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Other heavy lifting is to be done with chains and loading onto pallets. Duties include: 1. receive incoming material and check into the warehouse using the packing slip and comparing to our purchase order 2. must be able to learn the different materials and how they work together 3. pull outgoing orders for delivery and/or customer pick up 4. arrange material on yard and in warehouse 5. notify office on low quantity items for reorder 6. unload orders picked up on AMP Utility truck into inventory 7. keep up with reorder of propane gas 8. keep tools organized in warehouse and for forklifts 9. experience in plumbing and/or water works is a plus Apply today with your experience noted on your resume!!
