Builders FirstSource Sawyer FULL-TIME $23/hr, plus $2000 new hire bonus 20545 Murray Rd, Bend, OR 97701 Hourly Pay: $18 - $23 DOE $2000 sign on bonus, 25% after the completion of 90-days employment and 75% after 6 months. **PURPOSE: Under direct supervision, operates basic saw types such as pop-up, miter, web saws to cut planks, timbers, or boards according to work orders. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: -Reviews work order to determine cut(s) to be made. -Adjusts saw for required cuts. -Adjusts speed of saw and feed rolls. -Stacks cut lumber after processing. -Observes safety procedures at all times. -Perform other duties as required **WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: -Work is performed primarily in an outdoor yard environment, subject to variations in temperature and weather, equipment noise and dust. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. -May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
