Here's the thing about student loans

The overwhelming majority of students go to college for ONE REASON: Get a degree that will get them a good-paying job. Half of the American People never go to college, much less take out a student loan. Only about half of American workers even pay federal taxes at this point. The $300 Billion burden that Joe Biden plans to put on the poor/working class, will be equivalent to about $3,000 for every worker. As a blue-collar worker, why would I want to pay $3,000 toward something that I will not benefit from in any way?? Why would I donate $3,000 of MY money, just to help someone else get rich(er)? The college graduates coming into the workforce today, will be the highest-paid workers very soon. WHY would we want to pay off their student loans? This is a blatant TRANSFER OF WEALTH, from the bottom to the top. Just like the covid lock-downs, where the big corporations got richer, while mom and pop businesses and hourly workers went bankrupt. Rich people and upper-class people will be squeezing money from poor/working class people, to pay off their expensive student loans. The student loans get them degrees, which gets them higher-paying jobs and the wealth gap continues to rise..... And the rich get richer.... I never went to college. I borrowed a little money to buy a pickup truck and some tools and started my own business. I paid off the truck and tools as quickly as I could, and never looked back. What if people like me demanded that my truck and tools be paid for by American Taxpayers? My truck and tools are the same thing as a college degree, they are both meant to make money. The biggest takeaway is the Middle-Class and poor/working class are going to get screwed once again. This is how the Democrats roll: They have no use for a Middle-Class, if they get enough millionaires and billionaires on their side. You may notice that China, Russia, North Korea, Cube and Venezuela have no middle-class. They get squeezed out of existence, under a socialist regime.
