Here's how the government works

They are like Robin Hood, in reverse. Instead of taking from the rich and giving to the poor, they are doing the opposite. Taking money from poor and working-class people and giving it to the upper class and elites. This is how taxes work. The government may say they are taxing the rich, but that tax burden trickles down to you and me, in the form of higher costs on everything. Government promises not to tax you; They'll just jack up the price on everything you buy. Result? Same shit, different label. Government doesn't 'make' money they only 'take' money from you and me. Every single dime that government spends or gives away, comes out of YOUR pocket. They have gotten into the habit of printing more money as they see fit, which is driving inflation to the moon. Government needs to be 'brought to heel' and made to stick within their BUDGET for once. It's been a very long time, since government stayed within a budget. I don't think they know how anymore. It's completely out of control. You, me, we all have to stay within a monthly or yearly budget, so why shouldn't the government?? It's OUR money. They need to respect it. They work for us, remember that.
