I’m very sad to be doing this. We are having to rehome our 7 year old rott/lab mix. We are expecting a new baby in a couple of months and our house just isn’t big enough anymore. His name is Nix, he is VERY sweet. Very good with children, and cats. He is neutered. He’s a big baby. Expect cuddles during thunderstorms. We originally adopted him from a shelter, and he seems to have trauma around that. I really wanted to avoid having to take him back to another shelter. We think his previous owners before us abused him. He’s especially timid around men/men with strong voices. The only issue we have ever had with him, was leaving him unattended when we leave the house. He has a kennel that he has to be in (will be included if desired, though it’s very old & rusty) while we are out, or he will rummage through the trash & the kitchen. Other than that, he is perfect. He’s potty trained, he comes when his name is called, sits for his food. He’s a very good boy. He’s very protective over us & our 8 year old. We also have two cats that he gets along with. They run him honestly lol. He would make a GREAT addition to a family.
