Water Technician Job Description
The primary job of the technician is to perform emergency services for water damage and mold remediation. This work will take place at both residential and commercial properties.
Typical Duties Include:
Moisture Mapping
Develop Drying Plan
Setting and monitoring drying equipment to ensure structure has reached dry standard
Customer Service - informing homeowner about loss and the job schedule.
Removing unwanted water from homes (including attics and crawl spaces)
Removing wet and/or damaged drywall, flooring, cabinets, insulation, etc.
Cleaning affected materials and/or contents
File documentation including photos and measurements of affected areas and work completed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment that weighs up to 100 pounds
Ability to bend over and work in low spaces for extended periods of time
Ability to work for extended periods of time with appropriate respirator equipment
