Our company is currently seeking a skilled Production Worker and Warehouse Assistant to carry out various tasks in our busy window business. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience and excellent communication skills. The applicant will be responsible for operating construction equipment, building products like screens and storm windows as well as working on window sashes. They will also be responsible for signing off on deliveries and unloading products from suppliers. Many of the products we manufacture are unique to our business and we will offer on the job training. This is a great opportunity to start a career in a supportive work environment. Salary is based on experience. Ranging from $18 - $20 per hour.
Vacation and sick pay available after 90 days.
40 hours a week plus overtime.
Monday-Friday 7:30 - 3:30.
Payroll is done every Friday.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in a warehouse/ production environment
Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds unassisted
Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
Reliable mode of transportation and timeliness
Some knowledge of windows and doors either installation or their manufacturing
