Job description Structural Construction Foreman We are looking for a competent Structural Concrete Foreman to perform work, coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers, supervisors and clients you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A structural concrete foreman has a solid background in the field with at least 2 - 4 years of experience as a foreman. Leadership skills and extensive experience on the field have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and enforce safety above everything else. Herns Construction specializes in structural concrete and commercial construction. Responsibilities Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Monitor attendance of crew and approving schedules Supervise and train workers and tradespeople Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. Must comply with Credit Card Use Policy / company owned equipment/ Materials policies Skills Proven experience as construction foreman- 2 - 4 years experience minimum In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Problem-solving abilities Good physical condition and stamina High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) Spanish speaking (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $32.75 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Construction: 4 years (Preferred) Concrete Foreman: 2 years (Required) Language: Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: On the road
