Window Covering Installation Seeking Installer for window covering products. Company: Well established small business in Renton that has been providing custom window coverings to commercial and residential building projects for over 30 years. Opportunity: Install shades, blinds, draperies, and specialty window covering products. Mostly commercial projects in the metro Seattle area, but some residential and out of town work as well. Premium pay such as prevailing wage applies to some projects. Develop technical skills associated with motorized, automated and integrated electrical systems. Learn to troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of products. Benefits: Paid holidays, vacation, medical, dental, and 401(k). Compensation based on skills and experience. 90-day probationary period. Work Schedule: Typically, a 40-hour work week (6-2:30 M-F). Alternate hours (including nightshift) and overtime are sometimes required. Requirements: • Dependable – we need you to show up as scheduled and complete every assigned shift • On-Time – co-workers depend upon you • Professional – you represent the company at customer locations • Driving license – must have a good record to drive our vehicles to work sites • Problem Solver – figuring things out while in the field is a daily occurrence • Capable of handling and moving materials up to 70 lb. • Comfortable using hand tools and cordless drills • Ability to measure window openings and perform fractional math calculations • Attention to detail – extra trips and warranty expense should be minimal • Customer satisfaction focused attitude • Pass drug screen and background check • Follow and adhere to all safety rules and requirements • Prior experience – carpentry or other related work desired • Positive attitude and potential to develop are most important attributes If interested, please respond to this posting with a current resume and required compensation.
