Event Details: Haiku is a simple yet beautiful form of poetry that is fun and relaxing to write while tuning into the sensory experience of nature. With gentle guidance and prompts from the instructor, participants will enjoy writing and sharing Haiku poems that will focus on awareness of everyday beauty and joy in the moment. Please bring a journal or notebook and your favorite writing pen. No poetry-writing experience is necessary. About the Instructor: Elizabeth Higgins is an artist, instructor and nature connection guide who develops and facilitates classes and workshops connecting people to nature, mindfulness and creativity. She is known for her calm, supportive teaching style and her approach is centered on the belief that both nature and creative expression are necessary components of human well-being.
