At the end, you will choose from gold, silver, and copper hardware, and go home with a functioning ballpoint pen and simple instructions on how to change the ink.

Instructor Bio - Lila Ferber has a BFA in Sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute. She has been teaching lathe classes at Woodcraft since 2018. She has a special passion for teaching children, and encourages students of all ages to find their inner child. The main goal in her classes is for everyone to have fun and be creative. She is extremely knowledgeable about wood turning, having been enamored with the process the minute she got her hands on a lathe in 2014. Safety is a must with any form of art Lila is making or teaching, including chainsaw carving wood, ice, stone, and foam. Sculpture provides an endless possibility of learning and experimenting, and she hopes her students go home with many new skills learned, along with knowledge of how to make that project on their own.
