Since bandleader Matthew Shippee took a five year hiatus from concerts to focus on raising kiddos, the band has been returning to area stages in varied configurations with Kirk Sanger on bass, new original songs, and an assortment of guitar pedals for interpreting Gypsy Jazz and vocal jazz standards. This regular gig also features fabulous guest musicians associated with the GCC Music Department where Matthew is faculty and chair of the Contemporary Music Studies program.
