Busy HVAC construction employer is looking for a Pipefitter Helper for full time employment with benefits, per below: Primary Job Responsibilities • F60 • G60 • OSHA 40 hour A MUST ! • Pipe fitter Helper for commercial/residential installations and repairs of HVAC equipment and piping systems for heating hot water, steam, chilled, condenser water, refrigerant and condensate drain piping • Operate equipment such as lifts, beader crimper, brakes, shears, and hand tools. • Work under direction of Foreman and Mechanic • Inventory and order material as needed. • Works well with others. Position Requirements: • General knowledge of materials and installation experience preferred. • Ability to work in lifts and ladders (safety equipment provided where required). • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. • Ability to work in various environments - cold, hot, tunnels, roof-tops. • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus • Willingness to work overtime or modified schedule if the project requires. • Consistent attendance • Ability to solder, braze and thread pipe. • Welding knowledge a plus • Ability to read blue print drawings • FDNY cert of fitness • FDNY fire watch certificate Other: • Wages: Hourly - depending on experience • Benefits: Benefits available once established • Job Type: Full-time in Payroll To All Applicants: Please send RESUME and photos of job performed.
