Property Manager – Brockton, MA Property Management Company is seeking a full time experienced property manager with at least 3 years’ experience including some electrical and plumbing skills. Individual must work well in an apartment building environment with tenants of various personalities. Proven experience as handyman. Skills Required: Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. * Troubleshoot and repair, if possible, any maintenance calls needed in the units in a safe and timely manner. * Complete apartment turns in a timely manner; extensive cleaning required. * Installing kitchen cabinets, countertops. * Installing new tub/surround, vanities, and toilets. * Painting and cleaning. * Installing interior doors as needed for remodeling of units. * Treats all tenants, staff and property with the highest level of concern and care. * Must be physically fit. * Good communication skills * Well-organized and with good problem-solving ability. * Attention to detail. * High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Responsibilities * Showing apartments to prospective tenants. * Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Administrator. * Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. * Oversee all maintenance and hired vendors and inspect work performance. * Ensures quality control checks of all final products (i.e. unit turns, preventive maintenance, and rehab projects). * Oversees, delegates, and completes work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner. * Ensures the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment community including grounds cleanliness. * Ensure the timely and correct completion of work request and turnover of apartment for the smooth and efficient running of the properties. * The property manager must communicate regularly with the property administrator. * Ability to maintain a flexible, available schedule to respond to and resolve after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance.
