Since 2017, our rescue has found phenomenal forever homes for more than 150 dogs. We hope to continue that work this year, but COVID has brought significant challenges to our fundraising efforts. We also recently established our own quarantine facility, which was a long-time goal of our organization. For those who aren’t familiar, every dog entering the state of Massachusetts must undergo 48 hours of isolation in a state-approved quarantine facility.
There are only a handful of these state-approved facilities available, which means rescuing dogs and getting them to safety is often met with the roadblock of trying to get them into isolation. We have eliminated this roadblock by establishing our own facility. It has been a long (and expensive) road to get here, and we are not out of the woods yet. We still need help to keep this facility running so we are able to continue our mission to “rescue all the dogs.”
