I want to start an eclectic cover band. We must first entertain ourselves and hope we can entertain others. I play guitar and sing. I would like to find someone who can sing and play guitar/keys/ or bass. Eventually add to the core band. I play acoustic/electric/ slide guitar and mandolin. I realized I cannot shoe horn myself into an existing cover band. Covers can be anything from Elvis/Beatles/Sinatra/ American Songbook to Rock N Roll/ pop tunes from the 60s,70s, and some 80s Also country music from the 50s 60s and 70s. Song execution is key and interpretation of harmony and melody but it doesn"t need to be exact. Just sound good and well played. I consider myself a pretty good musician. I'm searching for musical chemistry. For the last 20 years I have been a singer songwriter dude. I will always write tunes but now it's time to change it up.
