This is an early season matchup between the teams. Mary Hardin-Baylor is ranked #1 in the preseason DIII polls and is defending National Champion after beating the Warhawks 24-7. Let’s show up for two reasons, first to support the Warhawks and second to support the Connell Family. The Crusaders need to be sent packing and experience long bus ride home. Jim Meisser (#77) will park his motorcoach (HNB One) for a pre-game tailgate party starting 10 am in front of the main gate (Lot 24 Section Z Section) so players (from the late ‘70s) plus friends and families can meet, enjoy food (and beer) and catch up/share stories. Our special thanks to Coach Kevin Bullis and staff for reserving this valuable space for this special event. Please respond to this invitation with the # of attendees by Friday, September 2nd.
