Description

If you're interested in educating the public about Human Trafficking, this is the orientation for you! You will learn how to present in a trauma-informed way. If you have never before been connected with the Task Force and are looking for opportunities to get connected, please join us. We will have opportunities available at the end of the meeting to express your interest in volunteering. WHO: All members of the TCHTTF Outreach Subcommittee and any partners who have been designated to provide community trainings are expected to attend this training. Others who may be interested in presenting HT materials in the future should attend this as an opportunity to learn more and sign up to present/train or table events. WHAT: The Tulare County Human Trafficking Task Force (TCHTTF) Outreach Subcommittee Lead and Task Force Coordinator will provide training on how to present HT materials, expectations and protocols, equipping you with resources and tools for being able to respond as a presenter on behalf of the Task Force. We will review the different presentations currently being offered and other materials available. WHEN & WHERE: We will meet at the Probation Connections Office in the Yosemite Conference Room. Please arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to network and enjoy some refreshments. We will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. The Task Force Coordinator and Outreach Subcommittee Lead will be available until 12:30 p.m. to answer questions.
