 Autism Spectrum Disorders Seminar Series 2022 Join Kern Autism Network, Inc. in our return seminars approach at providing up to date information to parents, educators, therapist, SLP, MFT, LSW, doctors and community at large.  These series of seminars will occur throughout the 2022-2023 school year with speakers in the field of Autism expertise, with topics meant to address the entire Autism Spectrum as defined by the DSM-5.   Our series topic: EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING 101 Outcomes: 1. What does it mean? 2. What's the big deal about Executive Functioning? 3. Where do we see Executive Functioning Skills in everyday life? 4. What can I do to support Executive Functioning growth and development for myself and others? Guest Speaker: Bethany Zoeller -President of Insights Assessment and Counseling Is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (#4064) and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with over 10 years of experience in providing psychoeducational services in Kern County. Bethany earned her Bachelor of Arts at California State University, Bakersfield, and a Masters of Arts at Fresno Pacific University. She has provided school psychology and educational consultant services to many public school districts throughout Kern County, California. She holds an adjunct faculty position at Fresno Pacific University's Pupil Personnel Services Graduate Program. Bethany specializes in assessment and support for Learning Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Who should attend:  Parents, caretakers, BCBA's, therapists, employers, teachers, and community at large. This seminar will be held at our office location for Kern Autism Network, Inc. Seating is limited due to space. Parking Options: In our parking area or in the Oak Park Tower parking area that is located off of 21 St. and Oak. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for check-in and seminar starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.  No children please, as we do not have childcare nor the area to accommodate.  NOTICE: No Refunds-if you are unable to attend, please contact us so that you can pass the registration to another relative, co-worker or colleague.
