Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) is a FREE program for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds that helps prepare them for kindergarten through home instruction for parents and caregivers and fun activities. Already enrolled in the HIPPY Pasadena Program? Interested in HIPPY Pasadena but would like to learn more before enrolling? Do you reside in the Pasadena, Altadena or Sierra Madre area? You are invited to attend HIPPY Pasadena's FREE Family Orientation hosted by the Pasadena Public Health Department, where you will meet program staff, learn about the HIPPY curriculum and what to expect when you enroll, participate in raffles for a chance to win prizes, FREE food (for the first 20 who register), and more! This event is for newly enrolled families, current families, and families that are interested in enrolling but would like to learn more about the program. If you are interested in enrolling your child in the program, you must reside in the Pasadena, Altadena, or Sierra Madre area to qualify. Children turning three by September 2022 and children up to age 5 are eligible to enroll in the program. Registration is NOT required to attend the event but is encouraged. The Pasadena Public Health Department often photographs or videotapes programs for use in publicity materials.
