The 2 acre Riverview Middle School Garden boasts several new permaculture features, including herb spirals, hugels, polyculture plantings, and cob bench seating. Learn about these environmentally friendly gardening techniques, and see the garden through the eyes of our students. At this workshop, you will receive mini garden lessons, sample seasonal veggies, take home a plant start for your home garden, and meet MDUSD staff and community members who are passionate about improving the health and well-being of all MDUSD students. MDUSD staff get paid for attending the event and it is free to the general public. Please enter through the gates to the Riverview Garden, not the main campus.
