It’s the cornhole event of the damn year! Brewing Up Business invites 32 teams to compete for the crown at the 4th Annual Brewing Up Business Charity Cornhole Championship. Enjoy tasty drinks from The Virgil and scrumptious food from Soon2BNamed Food Truck, and play for gold, or cheer on competitors as a Looky Loo. All proceeds for this event are donated to this year's appointed nonprofit: Skiing is Believing, helping local kids get scholarships for after school programs, activity camps and more ... all with a focus on community service. When: October 5th, 2022, doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bags start to fly at 5:30 p.m. Where: The Virgil | 301 Vassar St, Reno, NV 89502 Ways to participate / What's New This Year: Join a team: Find a teammate (there’s food, booze and cornhole … shouldn’t be tough). Your entry fee includes two drinks and two raffle tickets for each team member, and the chance for bragging rights as the Crowned Cornhole Champions of The World (aka Reno). Early Bird Team Entry Fee Sept 10th: $120 ($60 each) (Teams of 2) Team Entry Fee After Sept 16th: $160 ($80 each) Team Rules / The This-and-Thats: Creative team names and uniforms are HIGHLY encouraged--borderline mandatory. The activities range from ski lessons and mountain biking, to rollerblading and mountain yoga. Plus, as part of their mission, they intertwine the activity days with give-back community service days, so the kids in our community can find their passions in sport AND service. By helping Skiing is Believing, you're helping create more options for our community's kids and also helping fund scholarships for those who may not be able to afford to attend without your help!
