SUMMARY: Shop technicians’ primary function will be fabricating specialty parts out of HDPE plastics and preparing them for shipping.
Duties:
Operating Industrial Machines (CNC routers, Milling, Bandsaws, Hydraulic Presses)
Manual Fabrication (Angle grinders, table saw, specialty heat tools)
Palletizing and preparing finished goods for shipping
Unloading Inbound Freight shipments
Loading outbound freight shipments
Operating warehouse forklifts and telescoping boom forklifts
Maintaining a clean workspace
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from facility
Ability to pass Pre-Employment drug and alcohol screening
Experience with plastic or a metal fabrication is preferred, but not required
Ability to operate hand tools safely and accurately
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to communicate in English
Ability to work with a team and be able to rapidly shift focus to another priority when asked
