Join us for Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto with principal clarinetist Emily Dobmeier in memory of our former second clarinetist Diana Groll. Also featured on the program will be Beethoven's Symphony No. 2, which was written as he came to terms with his hearing loss and suicidal thoughts. We continue the work of September's Suicide Awareness Month as we present Beethoven's story. Pairing with these well-known works, the complimentary music of Amy Beach features captivating melodies and somber tones featured in Bal Masque.
