Looking for a reliable long-term contractor with great communication skills. I have a 1600 square foot 4 bed 2 bath house in West Palm Beach (North Tamardind). It had some squatters that now have finally been removed and the house needs some renovations over the coming weeks to make it usable for my family and renters again. Looking for someone to start first week of September and complete the renovations by early- to mid October. After that there will still be occasional work as we keep upgrading the house (or as things break and need fixing). For now here is some of the work that needs to be done: - replace lock in front door to a smart lock - fix some parts of the siding that is worn and partially paint - install a privacy fence all around the property - some light landscaping such as mowing lawn, laying couple pavers for a walkway, and trimming trees - power washing driveway and house - laying new floors in some of the bedrooms - painting the whole house inside - installing new closet rods and shelves in the 4 bedroom closets - installing new light fixtures - assembling lots of new furniture - picking up used furniture nearby and bringing it to the house, some light restoration of that furniture - hooking up new appliances like washer/dryer, fridge, stove - hanging blinds and curtain rods - hanging shelves and art - mounting TVs - installing new vanities, sinks, toilets, and shower curtains and similar. You should have your own reliable transportation to get to and from the house, get materials, and ideally be able to pick up some used furniture around. Most importantly you should be able to work autonomously, without supervision, and be 100% reliable (get work completed on time, no "no-shows"). You need to be a proactive, detailed communicator as I cannot be on the jobsite during the renovation so you would need to send daily updates via video/photo/text and I need to feel that I can trust you to do the job well without me being present.
