Drummer has 40 years gig and studio experience in rock, country, originals, and worship. Guitarist has 42 years gig and studio experience in rock, blues, originals, country, jazz, and a sprinkling of bluegrass early on. We want to put together a classic rock opener group. Our goal isn't to learn 100 songs and gig every weekend. Our goal is to learn 15-20 songs really well, and then just be an opener for other bands around the Chehalis/Centralia/Rochester area. Maybe share the stage with a band or two at a local party/event. We have a small practice space, P.A., and a very experienced soundguy for the when the time is right. We are looking for a local bassist and second guitarist. Both of us sing, so finding others that sing too would be great. Song selection will be classic rock from the 70's thru the 90's. We like to get really close to the recorded songs, because that's what people want to hear. If that means us learning the long version of the My Sharonna solo, then we learn the long version. If that means learning the octave vocal parts to Tube Steak Boogie, then we learn it. These are just examples; doesn't mean these songs are on the list. We don't have any desire to play 3-4 hour gigs with long drive times. Been there, done that. If this sounds like something you want to look into, drop us an email.
