ITP 80’s new wave cover band seeking male singer. We have a good size set list under our belt and are close to playing out. We have good rehearsal space. The non-negotiables: 1) No attitudes- we are all super nice people. 2) Be prepared (we practice once a week on weekends…so it is important to do your homework). 3) Don’t be overcommitted to so many other musical projects that this band becomes an afterthought. The preferred: 1) We are Gen-X'ers in our 40’s/50’s. Not required that you be too, but it helps the learning curve when these songs are already in your DNA. 2) Rhythm guitar and/or keyboard skills would be a major plus. 3) Higher range (tenor) preferred...you know those 80’s singers! Ultimately we all have busy day jobs and families, but we still want to take this band seriously too. The expectation is a 2 to 3 hour weekend practice, and playing out every 4-6 weeks.
