Description
Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself and talk a little bit about the new initiative we're taking here at Judge's Park a 501c3. We know our lovely residents are usually cute and fluffy, but we want to start an initiative that helps another kind of little guy that doesn't always get as much love as they deserve.
We want to open our doors to reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and scorpions. These rewarding and sometimes challenging creatures don't have a lot of rescue opportunities in our area, and after months of discussion and foster outreach we've decided that it's time to not only love the cute and fluffy, but the multi legged and scaly as well. I know these guys aren't always everyone's cup of tea, but I hope our followers can accept that all creatures deserve a chance to be loved and respected no matter what species or size. That being said we are now accepting limited surrenders for non-venomous small species snakes, lizards, tarantulas, mantis, scorpions, and frogs. Please privately message our Facebook page for more information about how to go about surrendering or to get established as an exotic foster. For the time being we do require surrenders be with their enclosures until we get our Amazon wishlist updated and get a larger collection of reptile/invertebrate supplies! We will be adding herp/invertebrate specific adoption forms to our website shortly!
We hope you'll have patience with us as we get this new program up and running, and that you won't mind a few more photos of our exotic friends showing up on our feed as we get more adoptions and surrenders! Eventually my goal is to start interactive school education programs, set up at events and expos, and show the world just how wonderful our odd little friends!
