So I have some ball pythons that have contracted Nidovirus. However, I have a pretty large collection, and I just can't take the risk of infecting more of my snakes. If you have the desire to take any of these sick snakes in, send me a message. I love them all dearly, but it's just too risky to keep them.
The thing with Nidovirus is that it is an incurable disease in the reptile world, and it can take the life of the animal at any time. So it's important if you are wanting to take any of them in that you recognize that ahead of time. Snakes can live for years and years with the disease, or can pass away within a few months.
I am looking for anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort to care for them, but it's important for that person to agree that they won't rehome them, and they won't breed them (to prevent further infecting the reptile community with sick snakes).
If you are interested send me an email, and I will respond as soon as I can.
