Job Description: Oversee work activities for team associates on a daily basis Review work procedures to ensure efficient workflow Train, manage, coach, and mentor warehouse associates Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material Tracking inventory and supporting replenishment initiatives Printing labels, picking items, and packing orders for truck pickup Supporting coordination of transportation of items between facilities - pickup and drop off of goods Packing pallets for LTL Booking DHL, Fedex, UPS, and LTL shipments, including Amazon FBA Recording inventory data, ie. weights, measurements, and stock levels Lab kit assembly Orchestrating consignment shipments Keeping warehouse areas organized, clean and safe Organizing and restocking shelves Assist with “will call” customers and orders Forklift driving Follows closing procedures Misc. tasks Skills Required: 2+ years experience leading and managing a warehouse team Ability to read, write, speak & understand English Proficient with computers Problem solving skills ​​Possess good leadership skills and the ability to develop, motivate, work with and through others in all warehouse departments to achieve desired results, required Ability to leverage desktop technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, etc.) and proprietary systems, warehouse management systems Possess an understanding of picking orders, quality control, shipping, receiving and space utilization in a warehouse environment preferred High attention to detail Willingness to do whatever job assigned each day Excellent writing, organization & communication skills a must Previous forklift certification and experience required Work effectively with limited direction as well as the ability to work in a team environment Eager to contribute within a growing business and willingness to take on new tasks and learn new things Willing to start early and work overtime as needed Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Must be able to pass a background check & drug test Must be able and willing to lift/move up to 70 lbs. Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Job Type: Full-time, eligible for benefits
