Description
I rescued these two rabbits about a month ago from where they were clearly abandoned beside the Charles (based on the timing, probably an Easter gift someone got bored with). All the shelters are closed to rabbits right now - if we turn them in, they'll be euthanized. My roommates and I have been looking after them short term, but we just can't take care of any more pets long term - they need a loving forever home that understands rabbits are not low-maintenance pets you can just leave in their cage and forget about.
They are both young, male, unneutered bunnies of unknown species (but clearly a domesticated breed). We've been calling the black one Crowley and the white one Aziraphale. Aziraphale is slightly larger, very good-natured and food motivated. Crowley is a little more shy, except when he gets it into his head to try and mount Aziraphale. My roommate has been litterbox training them, so you won't have to start from scratch with that.
They come with their own cage and a collapsible fence that can be attached to the cage to give them some out-of-cage play space. They'll respond great to love and affection - they're very sweet creatures if you're patient with them and give them the time to come out of their shells!
