Winter is right around the corner and Bend Park and Recreation District is looking for dedicated team members for The Pavilion this ice season. We have listed the positions we are looking to fill below, the hiring hourly wage range, and the minimum qualifications for each job. Concessionaire: $14.38 - $16.39 per hour - High school diploma or GED equivalent, or currently attending high school (required) - Some related volunteer or work experience (preferred) - Food Handler's Card (required, can be obtained through training) Facility Monitor: $17.00 - $19.38 per hour - High school diploma or GED equivalent, or currently attending high school (required) - Ability to ice skate (required) - Some previous related work or volunteer experience (preferred) Skate Instructor: $17.00 - $19.38 per hour (Instructor 1); $18.38 - $20.95 per hour (Instructor 2) - Must be a minimum of 16 years old (required, both levels) - High school diploma or GED equivalent, or currently attending high school (required, both levels) - Ability to ice skate (required, both levels) - Some previous work, training/certification, or volunteer experience related to position (required, Instructor 2) Hockey Official: $18.00 - $50.40 paid per game (see full job posting for details) - Must be a minimum of 14 years old (required) - Must have basic knowledge and interest in Hockey Manager on Duty: $21.36 - $24.35 per hour - High school diploma or GED equivalent (required) - Two years of college courses in recreation or related field (preferred) - Two years of experience working in a recreation facility with a minimum of one year leadership responsibility (required) - Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) - Experience as a rink operator or ice technician, but will train right candidate (highly preferred) - OR a satisfactory combination of education, experience, and training To see the full job announcements, click on the link under each listing or visit our main employment page at.
