Knowledge of construction safety: how and where to step/maneuver in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other areas Tolerance of working in high temperatures of 120 degrees. Comfortably wearing respirators and PPE. Able to work with fiberglass, rock wool, cellulose, spray foam, radiant barrier and other types of insulation. Familiarity and proficiency with hand tools: jackhammer, saws, drills, and masonry guns safely. Able to dig using shovels/picks inside and outside home. Where getting wet and dirty is all in a day’s work Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles. New Crawlspace Service Technician recruits will be trained on the following: Break up concrete and dig large volumes of dirt to install interior and exterior drain systems for basement waterproofing, French drains, and downspouts. Install foundation repair solutions: rebuilding cinder block, brick, installing steel I-beams, and carbon fiber reinforcement. Install pillars and jacks for sagging floors. Install sump pumps and dehumidifiers, drainage. Install all interior and exterior construction materials: build back and finishing, vapor barrier installation on walls, pillars, and floors. Air sealing subfloor and other areas. Mold remediation, including soda blasting, scrubbing, negative air, containment, biocide application, etc. Duct insulation, removal, installation, air sealing, repair, etc.
